Biography:

Jennifer Van Hook’s research focuses on the life course and immigrant populations. One strand of her research focuses on the measurement of the size, growth, and characteristics of the unauthorized population, and another focuses on the health and well-being of immigrants and their children. Her most recent work concerning the life course and immigration explores how dietary and health acculturation patterns depend on whether immigrants arrive in the United States as children, adolescents, or adults.
