Dr. Michelle Frisco Receives Grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Dr. Michelle Frisco, Associate Professor of Sociology at Penn State and Dr. Dorothy Daley, an Associate Professor in the School of Public Affairs and Administration at the University of Kansas, have received a three-year $750,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.  The grant, “Connecting Population Health Scientists across Disciplines: Generating Evidence, Informing Research Translation and Fostering a Culture of Health” will be used to develop three conferences that will highlight cutting edge population health research and foster the development of a much needed interdisciplinary professional space for population health scientists to convene, collaborate and share knowledge.
